Creating homes that feel as good as they look.
Before founding Sam Grigg Interiors, Sam spent more than 25 years creating interiors for editorial shoots, advertising campaigns and brands including Dulux, IKEA and John Lewis. That experience developed her eye for colour, proportion and composition - and the ability to see how seemingly unrelated pieces can work together.
It’s this eye that clients come to her for: seeing possibilities they hadn’t considered, knowing what a room needs and bringing the elements together. An existing painting, a much-loved piece of furniture or an architectural detail can become the starting point for a design, with colour, materials and new additions building around it.
Working closely with clients, Sam considers how rooms connect, how they function and how people want to feel in them. Her involvement extends beyond the initial ideas, developing the details and working with trades as the design takes shape.

Who I work with
My clients are often renovating a family home, rethinking several rooms or creating a second home. They want somewhere with character, have ideas about what they like, and are open to possibilities they might not have considered.
Some arrive with plenty of inspiration but struggle to bring it together. Others know their home could work better but can’t see where to begin. They value an experienced eye, clear recommendations and someone who can develop the design with them, then work through the details alongside their trades.
Based in East Sussex, I work on homes in Hastings, St Leonards, Rye, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding Sussex and Kent countryside. I also undertake selected projects remotely across the UK and internationally.
