Simple striped paint effect to
divide a shared bedroom

 

The concept for this room was to create a shared bedroom for two girls…something not too girly, and not age specific. A room that had a subtle room divide that wasn’t too visually obvious, but felt like each child had their own half.

This is where I came up with the idea of the diagonal stripes painted onto white walls. And by having a single white cabinet as a ‘buffer/ bedside table’ between their beds, this also becomes an almost invisible device to split the room.
