Bohemian vibes with a contemporary twist

 

The bold wall colour was the starting point for this design, and I chose to knock it back visually by introducing the softer, dusky blue chairs. Their moodiness, combined with the blue-grey of the side table, ensures the orange wall colour doesn’t become too dominant in the room.

I also wanted to include some pattern within the design, and used the woven elements of the rug and the wall hung baskets to achieve this. Because their colours are either black and white, or neutral, they can fit in anywhere - which is perfect for a bolder room scheme.
