Round up…

My monthly edit of inspirational interiors’ pieces from around the web…

Fabio vase from Sazy

Although this pot is pretty small at 14cm high, I think it packs a powerful punch when it comes to colour and style. Okay so it’s not something you necessarily need in your life, but is pretty gorgeous all the same. A perfect pencil holder.

Decorative stair runner from Kuldeep Handicrafts

I was on the hunt for an interesting stair runner for a client, and came across these on Etsy. I know you have to take a bit of a punt when ordering hand crafted items from overseas sometimes, but I feel like it could be worth it for one of these beauties. Handmade to order in whatever length you need.

Craquelet effect ceramic ceiling rose, Creative Cables

Quite a practical little item but it’s design details like these that will bring something special to a room. You can also choose from a vast array of fabric flexes to go with them…decisions, decisions.

Fez wicker stool from Glassette

When I look at these I imagine myself in the desert sitting around sipping mint tea, and though that may seem a little overly romantic I think that’s the point when you buy something handmade from another country. It’s like being abroad without actually being there…and it does feel a little adventurous (even if you haven’t left your house).

Enamel pitcher from Anthropologie

There’s something so spot on about the rich colour of this jug that I feel it would be a great addition to most colour schemes. I’m also a huge fan of enamelware as I feel it is one of those materials that not only looks great but is pretty hardwearing too. Form and function perfectly combined.

Laflin lamp, Abigail Ahern

I always feel the need to bring more lamps into my home as winter approaches, and at 75cm tall this lamp can either sit quietly on the floor somewhere, or make more of a statement higher up on a sideboard. Perfect for bringing a warm glow to a dark corner.

Kilim bench, Ian Snow

I’m a bit of a sucker for pieces that are both practical and beautiful, and I love this bench upholstered in softly coloured Kilim fabric. Great for hallways where you just need a little spot to pull those winter boots on.

Vintage poster, Kuriosis

I love a vintage poster but find them pretty hard to get hold of (at a reasonable price), so in my mind reproductions are the next best thing. And the reason I love this German company is that everything is printed to order, and you get to choose your size - all the way up to 84 x 100cm - so great for a super impactful stand-alone piece on the wall.

Piped glass candle holder, Liberty

I not only love the colour of this candle holder but find the shape great too. And just right for some autumnal entertaining…or any time of the year in fact.

Patchouli cushion, Suzanne Sews

I love a ruffle and I love tartan…so this cushion is just perfect in my mind. Great for cosying up your home as winter approaches, and made to order by a super talented seamstress.
